1. Minimalist "Four-Point" Frame

Unlike the heavy plate-style racks of the past, the Advance rack uses a hollow aluminum tube construction. It connects to the rear frame at four points, providing maximum lateral stiffness for carrying bags or rolling the bike while folded.

2. Integrated Mudguard Stay

The kit includes a specific Advance Rear Mudguard. The rack itself acts as the structural support for the mudguard, eliminating the need for extra wire stays and further reducing the bike's overall weight.

3. Advance Roller Wheels

The kit comes with larger, 66mm diameter wheels. These are significantly larger than standard Eazy Wheels, providing much better ground clearance and a smoother "trolley" experience on uneven surfaces like train platforms or pavements.

Installation & Pro-Tips

Compatibility Warning

This rack will not fit an A Line or C Line MK5. The rear triangle geometry and the brake caliper mounting points on the C Line MK6, P Line and T Line are different. Attempting to force-fit this will likely damage your frame.

Maintenance

Bolt Check: Because the rack is subjected to vibrations while rolling, check the four mounting bolts every 500km to ensure they remain torqued to 3 Nm.

Rolling Tip: When the bike is folded and you are using it as a trolley, push from the saddle. The wider stance of the Advance wheels makes it remarkably stable compared to the standard "R version" Bromptons.

Hollow Aluminum Framework: You can see the minimalist and lightweight design. It eliminates the solid center plate found on classic racks, using only strategically curved aluminum tubing to provide structural strength while cutting down mass.

66mm Advance Roller Wheels: The kit includes wheels that are significantly larger than standard Eazy Wheels. These feature a slim rubber tire around the circumference for quiet and smooth rolling on hard surfaces.

Specific Rear Mudguard: Notice the mudguard included in the kit; it does not have the holes or mountings for wire stays because it is supported directly by the rack structure itself.

Fixings and Hardware: The set comes complete with all necessary bolts specifically sized to fit the mounting points on the C Line MK6, P Line or T Line rear triangle.

Visual Functional Insight:

Once this rack is installed and the bike is folded, you will notice that the four large wheels create a much wider and higher "footprint." This not only makes the bike significantly more stable when standing but also provides much better ground clearance, preventing the bottom of the frame or the front mudguard from scraping the floor while you are "trolleying" the bike.
